I have been using a product by Hav-a-Hart that irritates the pads on the cats' paws, and watering down the areas the neighborhood cats enjoy using. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

I moved an electrical box for a light fixture. I have put the sheetrock patch in and I am about to tape the piece - it's square and obviously has 4 sides. At the corners, to I overlap the tape? Or should I make sure NOT to overlap and cut the tape so it doesn't end up on top of another piece?

Should the wall tile touch the floor? OR
Should I leave enough space for the floor tile to go under the wall tile? OR
Should they meet at each edge of the tiles?

I dont' know the best way to do this? I'm tiling up the wall about 3.5 ft and laying a new tile floor.

I have drains installed in my dog kennels and we just had some bad weather and leaves and everything just went into the drains. What is the best liquid or chemical ...ANYTHING I can use to unclog them. Preferably something I can get at a store like wal-mart or something.

I live in a rented apartment and the landlord doesn't allow window acs. Can I install a window ac inside a room and create a plywood shell to cover the back and sides of the ac to vent the air out. Will this work? Anyone have better ideas? Have looked at portable a/cs but have read that they are not as effective and are expensive.

We just bought a house and moved in on saturday, and yesterday i was cleaning and heard noises in the upstairs bedroom. Like footsteps and closing of a closet door, the only thing is that my boyfriend was asleep. And also he woke up to noises too thinking that it was me but i was cleaning not moving heavy stuff around. What should i do? Is there a website that tells about homes if somone died in there?

I inherited what I think is a yukka plant many years ago. Since moving house it is flourishing and getting new leaves all the time. Unfortunately it is now a tad bald at the bottom. I know that leaves only grow at the top but can anything be done to improve the look of the bottom part of the stem?

My husband and I own a Mask Business. We sell at Renaissance faires. We are building a new booth this year at another faire. We are looking into putting together mobile shelves. Something we can either put in a tent or set up in our buildings. Something with a lip on it, so people dont drop our masks all over the floor. It can't be heavy or bulky. We only have a Dodge Caravan. Any suggestions on how to go about making these shelves portable and free standing. Oh yeah and they have to be wood. Plastic was not invented until the 1800's. Kind of stinks but everything we build has to be period.

Even though it's a new energy-efficient model, I still don't want to use the electricity for such a long period of time. Will it harm the fridge if I shut it off for so long?

I have steel doors, and have taped stuff to it, but am not able to get the sticky stuff off, it collects dirt, and looks dirty. I have tried Mr. Clean magic sponge, Goo Gone, Goof Off, and many multi purpose cleaners, so far nothing. I did learn to use magnets to hang things up:)

I'm painting several different rooms in my house. How does everyone feel on the painting just the walls? Should the ceiling be painted? Or does it even matter?
