I am about to start buffing an outback stake house and eventually I know they may want it stripped and waxed. I have stripped and waxed tile floor forever but not ever messed with hardwood. do you HAVE to sand after you strip or would you just run a black pad over it and take off the dirty top coats of wax and reapply a few new coats that way you don't go down to bare wood.

Is there any "special" technique that can limit this mess? I always seem to manage to get paint all over myself and nearby carpet / soft furnishings etc.! What is the best sheeting to put down to protect carpets etc.? Thanks, in advance.

I am growing jalepeno plants from peppers I picked in a garden. The buds bloom, but then die quickly. I have about 6 plants in a pot. I do need to re-pot them. Just wondering if the pot is too small for them.

I'm moving into my new place next week and I'll be searching for a bedroom set. Is there anything I should know about whats good and what isn't? I want quality, but I don't want to spend a fortune. I'm a 20 year old college student. I like the beds that sit closer to the ground, but I'm not sure about the quality on those. Hopefully you guys/gals can help me out.

Has anybody had this problem and know what the solution is?

When the oven get up to temperature. an error code? "F1" flashes on the display. Of course its out of warranty now, so I'm just wondering what the problem is and how costly of a repair we're looking at.

So i am posting this question for my boyfriend who doesnt have a comp at home:

He is interested in becoming a general journeyman electrician. He took a test with ibew in which he has not recieved anything back from yet. According to the california general journeyman electrician application, applicants must have 8000 hours of prior experience. Now to the point, here is my question: Do these hours need to be completed in an apprenticeship in an organization such as ibew, or can it be with any electric contractor? because he does have these hours, but with a general electric contractor. Please give me any information, recources and advice you can. Your feedback is verrrryyy appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!!

One of my bedroom doors keeps sticking to the door frame. It's like the paint sticks to each other. Is there anyway to stop this without sanding down and repainting? I don't want to put cooking oil on it either.

I am an electrician in Minnesota. I recently learned that firefighters must shut off power to a building before they hose a buring building down, due to the risk of electrocution. The same risk of electrocution exists when an automatic fire sprinkler system activates. I'm wondering if anyone has ever disconnected power to a building when the sprinkler system kicks in? It would be quite easy (but expensive) to do this by using a shunt-trip main breaker. Any thoughts?

I would like to get away from using as much as possible on my lawn as well as not wanting to have to use much water but still keep a half decent lawn throughout the year. I read about native grass but not where to find it and if it can just be added to the lawn that I have to thicken it up.
