I bought a 2 gallon reservoir unit and a paint spray gun nozzle to use with my air compressor....but there is no paint hose included. Can I use a typical 1/4" rubber hose for the output from the tank to the gun ? Can paint be routed through a rubber air hose like this?

if you have a pressure regulator feeding the gun and tank and keep it under 45 psi yes it is ok at full 90 to 125 psy you will paint a lot really fast, just not evenly (BOOM) get it?
consider if the hose will withstand any solvents in the paint and use good hose clamps.

IF IT IS AN AIRLESS PAINT GUN DEFINETLY not, NOT NINE NIT NEGATIVE, NO.

I would not recommend doing so. Any paint you have in the tube is lost. Dependent on the size of your hose, it could be upwards of half a gallon. I would recommend using the system you have as intended by the manufaturer.

God Bless

Most paint sprayers are high pressure, mine is 1350 psi. and, could explode. I wouldn't recommend anything other then what the manufactures recommend. It could be dangerous.
