I wanted to put some plants in pots on my porch. They will not be getting direct sunlight. Any advice on which plants would best survive will be great!

For flowers: begonias, impatiens or fuschias (as already mentioned).

For foliage: ferns, hosta, coleus, spider plants or peace lily will all do well in low light in pots.

An upright fushia should do it. Go to the nursery and look for shade plants. Ask someone who works there. Impatients would work too. Begonias also!
