I've removed average doorknobs before, but I can't figure out the doorknob on our current bedroom door. There are no screws to remove the trim or knobs themselves. I'll attach a picture if I can figure it out.

My sun porch is two stories high. I would think it would be very lovely vineing up the beams on my sun porch? Am concerned about how hot it gets out there in the summer. I had a Alabama Sweet Potato vine out there a couple of summers ago and it did quite well until winter came and the porch door was left open and the frost got it. Loved that Alabama Sweet Potato! Would like to have another.

I have a ten month old crawling daughter, and I'm pregnant. I can't find the way they are getting in, they only show up when there are stray crumbs on the floor. I'm pretty sure they are just living in my carpet (it's berber) but no matter how many times a day I vaccuum, they keep showing up.

anyone in the KCMO area know where I can buy plastic paper plate holders? I have looked at walmart and kmart, and the people there don't even know WHAT they are. I looked in the home area, the bbq area, but all I find are styrofoam plates! I even looked where they sell paper plates in the store and NOPE, not there either.

I slide it across the wall and nothing happens. The green light is on, but it doesnt detect any studs. This cant be possible, can it? Just for the heck of it, I drilled a hole 16" and 24" in from the corner thinking I might find one that way, but nothing! Im so frustrated I could scream!!

from a small meter to main box service fuse box. Can I replace the #10 wire with larger wire # 2 or # 4 for the time being so I can upgrade the service later? I am replacing the fuse box with a 100Amp service breaker box.

I just moved into a 2nd floor apartment, and the lady under me smokes alot! Now my apartment is starting to smell really bad.
What can I do? We're all allowed to smoke in our own apartment, so I can't complain to the Landlords.

My husband and I just bought an older home. However the entire house is filled with 1960's decor including a lime green tub, sink, and toilet. (I didn't even know they made those!) How expensive and how hard would it be to replace everything? Is there anyway to paint or stain these materials different colors maybe? They're all fiberglass materials.
