I agree, Magic Eraser is great. It does however, leave a reside.
WD-40 works great. Since crayon is grease based, you need grease to remove it. Sounds odd, but true. Just spray WD-40 directly on wall or on rag (get it wet enough) and wipe clean. Always worked like a charm for me.

try the mr. clean magic eraser. and this may sound silly but i use a little spray and wash and a sponge to get crayons and other stuff off my walls. It really works. If you have freshly painted walls, i would not reccomend the spray and wash. Good luck!

ROFL -- it looks unanimous and I must agree. I discovered Mr. Clean erasers several years ago and they are a total lifesaver, especially if you rent. You'll find them pretty much anywhere and they're not very expensive.

I would NOT use WD-40 because you may not know what your paint base is. We had just some basic primer in one cheap apartment we rented and the WD-40 killed the crayon, AND the paint. Aaaiieee!

Definitely a Mr Clean eraser. My 4 year old became an artist overnight and I had sharpie designs on my walls to prove it. My friend told me about the Mr Clean eraser. You just get it wet and wipe, how simple.
