I've been looking at Frontgate, Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, ect., but they don't seem to have what I'm looking for - what other companies have high end accessories/hardware? I'm looking for trashcan, soap dispenser, towel tray, shelves, and hooks in a brushed chrome/nickel color.

my tub wouldn't hold water so i figured a problem with the stopper. i removed the the face plate (water overflow) and could see the thing - connecting rods? not sure of the correct terms

anyway i pulled up on it because i thought it was all attached to a stopper at the bottem - but when it came out ... no stopper was attached - looks old - probably 25 yrs (age of house).

how do i get the stopper out so that i can buy a new one? the name on the face plate says CENTRAL - never heard of it

tried a coat hangar and got it hooked on something but was unable to pull it up - may have shoved it too far down.

could the stopper be attached to something else that shouldn't come out? the tub drains now and we use a plastic drain stopper - don't want it to clog so it doesn't drain at all

we don't have any way to get behind the tub.
I'll try anything - please help thanks...

We have had our swimming pool for a couple of years, and it works great, but, this year it seems to be oddly blue. Infact, it's so blue that the shallow end looks foggy, and you can only see about to the half way mark before its unreconizable. Is this because we put too much of something in it? Or maybe that it will just take time for the blue to clear out?

Live in a rural area. New construction. There's no trees, none! We have an acre and a half, its long and narrow. The back yard butts up to the back yards of two neighbors along the right side and to our next door neighbor on the other side. Any ideas on how to create a fun space would be great. Thanks

I started a 1 yard by 1 yard compost bin made of spare lumber about six months ago. I've added plenty of fall leaves, fresh-cut grass, weeds, coffee grounds, tea bags, vegatable and fruit waste and eggshells over the past few months.

I'd say the pile is about halfway rotted. There's some of the black stuff, but there are also some grass and leaves that have yet to decay.

Now that I'm getting ready to garden, I'd like to use some of the mature compost, but I still have plenty of stuff to add to the pile. How do I have my cake and eat it too in this situation? Would adding more material at this point be good for my pile or not? What would you do in this situation?
