The blossoms on my hyacinths are so heavy that the flowers have fallen over. Is there anything I can do?

Those little pull apart chop sticks from the take away work well. If they are to obvious dye them green with food color. I like to use the green velcro plant ties to hold plants.

Yes- make some stakes from old cloathes hangers and tie the flower stems to them.Use old strips of t-shirts or other ,of the same color, for ties. Use buckets ,for protection, against sub-freezing weather. If they are growing in the shade of the north side of your house, then dig the bulbs up and replant to the sunny southside after mid -fall. They grow much sturdier in full sun but die back quicker. Collect the flowers at thier height of fragrance and seal in freezer bags for later enjoyment-such as family gatherings and late night romance.

Cut them and put them in a vase.
