So i have these tiny worm like creatures in my apartment. They are long, light brown, with a brown tip at the front and back.

But unlike most of the websites these are living in my luggage and dark places in my apartment. I've seen them once or 2x over the years but never this bad.

I'm going through and basically throwing everything out; and washing all of my clothes. And placing everything i own in containers.

But there are certain things i can dump like my bed and couch.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any suggestions....

We have alot of wood and I'm thinking that if we sell a couple of cords (including hauling and stacking) in the winter time, it'll pay for the extra heat for a couple of months.

Also, If you feel like addressing it - what are some examples of hard woods and soft woods

thanks

Ok... so.. I'm home alone for the weekend, and I accidentally locked myself out of my room. The windows are locked from the inside so I can't just go climb in. On one side, theres a simple dial thingy you twist to lock and unlock it. On the other side, its a small circle hole. There's no key to the door. I really need some help.

We just moved into a new place. We caught 3 mice in our garage last week. Since then, I've put all our food into tupperware, and the house is clean. We do not allow food in any place other than the kitchen. The other day, I could smell a very faint odor in the living room. It kind of smelled like a hampster cage. I checked under the couches and all, and found nothing. Well, tonight, I smelled it again, only this time in my sons bedroom. It was there for about an hour, and now it's gone. Could it be the mice or perhaps my paranoia?

Are there many houses up for sale that are just sitting? Or, are they selling when prices are slashed?

Do you feel concerned by the foreclosures taking place right now in the U.S. coupled with many areas having trouble selling homes?

The real estate industry came out with figures showing that sales were steady, however, I am not convinced of that at all. Sellers that are desperate are doing whatever it takes to sell their homes, so if the market is steady, it is at a price.

What say you?

BTW: In my state, things are better than in places like California, Florida, etc., where prices went too high too fast.
