I'm about to decorate my bedroom, i was torn between choosing chocolate and duck egg blue or chocolate and green. I went into a wallpaper shop and instantly fell in love with this beautiful chocolate brown wallpaper with simple green floral pattern for a feature wall and bought it, along with a lovely textured, suede effect cream coluoured paper for the other walls. The only thing is now i'm struggling with finding curtains and cussions to match the Brown and green paper. They had the right fabric in that shop but it was really expensive, like £30 per square meter. Have you seen anything like it about for a reasonable price? like in Dunelm or somewhere? Im in the West Midlands in England. Thanks

When should I plan my spring application of garden fertilizer in zone 5? I see some of my spring bulbs beginning to pop up, but I also realize we are a long away until our typical planting date of mid-May.

I see a lot of magazines showing mirrors being used in the garden for accent and I like the look. I would like to add one to my garden, but I'm confused about whether the mirrors are supposed to stay put year round (some look awfully permanent in their setups) or are they only meant to be seasonal? If they're meant for year-round use, do I have to look for a special weather-proof glass or will any mirror do? Thanks!

A door way in my Victorian house tapers in toward the bottom by about 10mm each side.

It is possible to hang a door on this frame?

If I plane the door to fit, will it open badly?

I have tried the laundry soap, but it only kills one out of every ten. Ant spray works but it is expensive and stinky. I am sick of the bugs, but I do not want to cut my trees down.

Looking into bedding duvet covers online and the majority of the ones I like are from the UK and it says that their "UK King size" is not the same as a "US King size"... can anyone tell me what size in the UK would be comparable to a US King size?

THANKS!

we are told not to water our plants too oftenly as it may cause the roots to rot, or be deprived of oxygen, but how is it that hydroponics works? would the roots not rot by being submerged in water all day?

I need to take a suit in to be dry cleaned. Will the dry cleaning be able to to remove stains (like coffee)? Will it be able to remove grease stains (like from a small food spill)? Finally, can it remove body oils (like the ring around the collar)?

My suit does not smell bad, but it has been over a year (and wearing once per week) since last cleaning.
