I've got dafodils, and glads, and expect to dig them after they're done blooming and die back, and then replant them ???in the fall?
I guess I'm asking how you prepare them for an indeterminate storage time...like the stores that sell them do. Thanks

i have a very small bathroom that i am redoing. i have an all white tile shower with glass doors and we are putting up white beadboard with chair rails on all the walls. I need a color that will not wash out my pale skin or mess with the color when i am applying make-up. something fun but it cannot be in the beige family or in the green family. where can i find these colors or does anyone have any ideas. oh, there is a window in the bathroom

I live in Tulsa, OK and the place is covered in trees with white flowers. I have heard they are Bradford Pear trees, but some of them are HUGE (25-30 ft). Didn't think pear trees got that big. What kind of trees are these? I love the white flowers, but they smell really bad.

My friend got a new office chair and she gave me her old one that's vinyl (she's a vegeterian and won't buy anything leather). I like the chair, but after sitting in it after a while my skin sticks to the vinyl and it's annoying when I get up.

Is there anything I can do to the vinyl to prevent this?

I got some Wisteria Sinensis seeds. I want to plant them but as long as I know this vine has a fast growing rate but I want to know when will I get its first bloom? average time?

I read that the japanese species (Wisteria Floribunda) will bloom after 10 or 15 years of age!! this also happens with the Sinensis species too?

I dont really want to wait too long!!!

Thank you all!!!!

I found some similiar questions/answers about bees, but the solutions will not work.

I live in a condo so I guess I can reach out to my HOA, but this community is much faster to respond.

My mailbox backs up to a bunch of shrubs where tons of pinestraw is, and the mailbox is on a wooded row of "lattice board." Therefore, pouring gas and lighting a fire would be too risky. Can anyone recommend the best approach?

Yesterday, I sprayed tons of raid all around the mailbox, and at one time about six of them started chasing me. I was so freaked out that I threw my can of raid and ran as fast as I could in heels across the parking lot. If caught on film, it would bring some laughs to anyone viewing. They finally "lost interest", but my can of raid was destroyed from the throw (broke the top - now unusable)... but it's a mess - my postman is always battling the bees, and eventually someone is going to be stung by one or more -these bees are VERY aggressive. Can anyone help?

I am reflooring my house (subfloor and joists need replacing) and need to dig the crawl space deeper. What powered tool could I use to easily do this ? I only have a 3 foot doorway to get a tool in. Someone mentioned an air chisel to me as one option. Are there any other options?

I have modern furniture (mostly beige and pale woods) - and it feels too..."cold" or like its out of a magazine - not something that I feel warm and cozy in...Shoot sometimes I feel like I'm in a doctors waiting area....
Any ideas on how to pull that together, what elements I can use to make it feel more "homey"
Thanks a bunch

I have 8, approximately 20' high, podocarpus trees around our spa. Four of them are really sparse in the middle. I was told by one nursery worker to cut the tops off and fertilize them. Another guy, different day, told me they won't grow any more branches even if I prune them. Does anyone know how to get these trees/shrubs to become the privacy screen they are meant to be? I see them at Disneyland and they look perfect the way I want mine to look.

Oh my goodness gracious!!! My husband got his acceptance letter for BYU-Idaho on Monday. But instead of starting this fall, and giving me plenty of time to pack, he starts on April 16th!!!!!! We are supposed to move into student housing on April 13th!!!! That gives me just three weeks to get everything ready to go!

Oh, I feel just a bit overwhelmed.

Now, I need help please. Where in Salt Lake City are good places to get larger boxes for free?

And any tips on how to organize myself for all this mad dash packing?

And can I tell you how glad I am I'm not pregnant yet? My husband and I had been hoping we would be expecting our third by now, but oh, the Lord knows what he is doing and I am so grateful he decided I should wait a bit longer!!! LOL
