newspapers over paper towels?? Which cleans windows better?

Newpaper are the best.You can ask anyone from the older generation and they will say the same. As that is what they use in the olden days. Newspaper with vinegar. Spray vinegar onto window and use a newpaper scrunch up to wipe off. The ink on the newspaper will not come on to the windows and its cheaper than paper towel. Plus you don't get lint from newspapers.

Newspapers clean windows because of the solvent power of the inks used in them. Unfortunately, you expose yourself to the smells and residues of those toxic inks, and the ink will get all over your hands. Cleaning windows with vinegar and water and a lint-free cloth is probably the best solution.

The first time you use vinegar and water, put a little dish detergent in the solution in order to take off the built-up chemicals if you have been using commercial cleaners.

Newspaper...I prefer them over paper towels because they are cheaper and I think they work just as great.

Actually the best thing to clean windows w/ is coffee filters. I know it sounds funny but when I worked at a convience store that is what we used to clean the doors and windows w/ and it really works.

Sarah, Windex claims they're streak unfastened yet once you dont opt to apply it do not For cleansing the mirrors you could water and vinegar its the cloths that makes them streaky so use newspaper i might say that for the homestead windows too. reliable success

I use vinegar and water mixed equal parts to clean mine also.
