Put some water in the bottom of the pan and return it to the stove and boil it. While still warm scrub the pan this should take the burnt soup off.

Here's how, Burnt and scorched pans
Sprinkle burnt pans liberally with baking soda, adding just enough water to moisten. Let stand for several hours. You can generally lift the burned portions right out of the pan.
Stubborn stains on non-stick cookware can be removed by boiling 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1/2 cup vinegar and 1 cup water for 10 minutes. Re-season pan with salad oil.
Or you can simply put a capful of fabric softener or dryer sheet with a little water in the bottom of the pan and soak overnight the burned on soup will lift right off then all you do is wash with your dishwashing liquid. Good Luck !

Put hot soapy water in the saucepan and let it soak for a couple of hours. The burnt tomato soup should wash out when you do the dishes.

Put warm water and some dish soap in it and let it set over night. You will be able to remove it very easily.
Don't use a Brillo pad. It will scratch the pan. Use one of those sponges with the plastic mesh covering.

I would soak it in hot water with some detergent for a few hours. Then use a brillo pad when the burned part has been loosened up.
Good luck!

Use some warm water and baking soda. let it sit for a bit and then use a scratch pad, preferably one of those puffs that women use in the shower, that way it doesn't scratch your pot.
