I need to take a suit in to be dry cleaned. Will the dry cleaning be able to to remove stains (like coffee)? Will it be able to remove grease stains (like from a small food spill)? Finally, can it remove body oils (like the ring around the collar)?

My suit does not smell bad, but it has been over a year (and wearing once per week) since last cleaning.

Most dry cleaners can remove all you have mentioned, if you ask them to remove those stains then they will be able to concentrate on those stains and they will not be missed if they are not brought to the cleaners attention then I am afraid they will go untouched and you will still have stains on your clothes, so don't forget to mention you have stains and tell the exactly what stains you are concerned about and need removal of. Good Luck !

The cleaners should be able to get the stains out, but the key is to point out the stains and let them know specifically what each stain is so that it can be treated accordingly.

Each time that you get something on your suit, you should take it to the cleaners immediately. The older the stain gets the harder it is to get out because it sets.

Also, even though you only wear your suit once a week, even without stains you need to get it cleaned on a monthly basis to keep the fabrics in the best shape possible.

As long as you bring it to a mid to higher end dry cleaner. Look for quality not price. Definitely point out your concerns ask them to wright it on your receipt. Tell them that they are very old stains. When you pick up check the clothes before you take them out the store. Not cleaning your suit for that long of time will only make it more difficult to get the stains out. If some stains are that old they may not come out. When you get it stained bring it in for cleaning with in week. Good luck

Stain removal is not a guaranteed process at ANY dry cleaner, that is just plain reality. I would suggest getting your suit cleaned often, reason why, you wouldnt keep driving your car for 10 000 miles without maintenance.

I took my white duvet into the drycleaners after my dog was sick all over it (blood, urine, etc) they were able to get the stain out. So ust let them know and they will do their best. Shouldn't cost you anymore for cleaning it. But if you have been wearing it once a week I would suggest you clean it more often. Besides a skunk can't smell it's own scent!

I think as long as you point these bad stains out to the dry cleaners they will work on them so they do get removed

Most likely they can. Be sure you point them out to the cleaners so they can pre-treat the stains. I would have it cleaned more than once a year.
