Hello kelly.Generally ,shower taps are pretty basic,so I'll give this one a whirl.First off you must shut off the water supply to your shower. This can be done by going to the main water valve coming into your house in the basement,or seeing if there is a set of hot and cold ball type valves just before the shower stall that will stop the flow to your shower.Next look at the taps. There should be a screw in the middle of the tap.(Note:sometimes, there is a little cap on the face that is hiding the screw underneath. This cap must be removed by prying it off with a butter knife or screwdriver to gain access to the screw). Now,loosen the screw and remove it.This will remove the tap handle and expose the valve itself.Next you will need a wrench to seperate the two halves of the valve.Once you have removed the top part of the valve, you will see a little rubber o-ring,or seat. This is the offending part which needs replaced.Take this part to Wall Mart ,or someplace similar and get a few of them.(nice to have extras). Before replacing the seal, try to clean the tap of any scale buildup that might be present. This scale will wear away at the new seal that you are replacing. Now simply reassemble the tap and you have just repaired your leaky shower.(Note; You may as well do both taps, seeing as how you are already into the job).I hope that this is helpfull to you.and good luck with your repair.Barney
