I have to send a gift to someone, but I don't really know the best way. And, it needs to go out tommorow! (the date snuck up on me). I don't understand all the mailing options at the post office or UPS, but the picture measures about 9" x 12" and has glass in it. Please help, as I am pressed for time, and don't do much mailing.

I have my furnace set at 21 or 22 and most of the time it will stay around that temp, it usually goes down to 19 or so until it kicks back on. Sometimes though it goes down to like 15 and it still shows its calling for heat but it wont turn on. So I turn down till its below 15 then the heat display goes away and I turn it back up and it kicks on but sometimes only blows cold air for a minute then shuts off??? It -30 here so I do it again a few times till it blows hot air. Why is this. sometimes it also kicks off and on a few times and shuts off. Why please help

I thought it was clog but two of my neighbors have exactly the same problem (same builders) and occurred the same day. I have already tried boiling water, two containers of liquid plummer, Industrial drain cleaner with Hydochloric Acid ( Gets pipes Hot).I have plunged until I have blisters with no flow. I can access the 5 inch metal pipe that runs under the slab (no basement) via a test plug below the PVC piping. But i can not snake it with quarter inch snake.
Should I add halite to the acid now in my pipes?

I think it is neat to give homeowners a type of "map" of all the wiring. I thought that there might be a software in the market that would allow me to quickly create and print such map. Is that possible? Which software is that? If not, how do electricians "register" what they have done for future use?

I have a home that was built in 2006, I have a outside breaker box, with that I now have a GFI that doesn't work thru out the home, what I mean is that when it gets below 38 degrees F, the GFI's don't work in any of the home, you can reset it all you want, still won't work, all GFI's have been replaced, I have had electricians out, they don't know what is wrong with it either, I need some advice on what to do next... The outlets do work later after the temp warms up, we live in colorado so weather has been the noticable factor. Ideas anyone...If I don't get this fixed soon my wife will strangle me...she works at 4am, so it doesn't work when she "needs" it. Thanks

Do anyone know which is cheaper as far as fence goes privacy or chain link? I have had people tell me that privacy is cheaper but I always thought chain link would be cheaper.

When my ex put in my light tile with light grout in the living room, he never put the seal on. It is nasty dirty now. I had previously tried to scrape, put sealer on, scrubbed it with 'Ajax' with bleach, put sealer on, nothing seems to work. I already thougt about just painting it. Is there a machine out there, scraping it out, so I could refill it with new grout and then seal it? Or would that not hold? Any ideas? I surely appreciate it. My back and knees hurt just thinking about that darn floor again...

I recently purchased a digital Honeywell thermostat. The Heat system works fine, but the cooling system does not work. I connected wiring as it came out in the instruction manual. I used a voltimeter to make sure there was nothing wrong with the system itself. Does that mean the thermostat is defective?
