Regular nail polish remover will not work. It has to be one that has Acetone in it. This is what dissolves the glue that holds the acrylic nails on.

You can't, it will still stain your skin , according to the back of the bottle for skin contact that says wash affected area with soap,and water.. hope you properly applied the glue to what you were fixing, dampen both surfaces to be glued , apply glue , clamp it .. and watch out for the foam when it dries. ,the only other thing it says about removal is for tools ,use sandpaper,chisel or scraper , oh !!! it also has something about using paint thinner ,but it will still stain you skin .. try lighter fluid. This removes tons of stuff. Make sure you wash your hands really good with soap afterwards though.
Next time you might wanna think about wearing gloves. Good luck.

brake cleaner, i use it all the time at my job to get grease off my hands and anything else that gets stuck on my hands

not sure... you might try nail polish remover.
if not, it will wear off in a few days.
