whirlpool mod lg5601xswo gas dryer does not get hot enough. cleaned the vent system complete. burner side plenum gets to 230 degrees very quickly and limit switch shuts down burner until temp drops to 100.

temperature sensor is out. the unit should never get that hot

Can only address ones that always worked that way. Use normal dryers fixed to work commercially. Can only do two loads, and than must give it ten minute break. Asked what rational was, and was told: It was safety measure to prevent heading unit from dying from extended contentious use. Try giving it ten minute down time after two loads. Don't know if some problem can cause machine to start doing that never did it.

Make sure the squirrel cage blower is not slipping on the motor shaft if this happens it will limit the air flow and cause the dryer to overheat

I am not an expert but.....
Sounds like something is wrong with your air flow.
Check again for lint clog going into the drum and check the blower fan (squirrel cage) for slippage/restrictions.

I would call Sears and pose this problem to them. Maybe, like a stove I recently bought from them, they have a design feature that's the problem.
