We have a three meter high ugly concrete wall on our property that we'd like to have covered in ivy. It will look nicer, and hopefully be cooler in summer. I know ivy is a weed, and can be destructive, but believe me, it will be nicer than our ugly wall. How can we nurture the ivy so that it grows both horizontally and vertically to completely cover the wall? (part of the wall is next to a path, so we can't plant all along the wall). Thanks in advance!

They shove hundreds of them in a plastic bag with a few shredded pieces of dried grass. Half are already dead when U open them up. Is there a more humane way to buy them?

Sorry folks, I have a heart for helpless creatures.

They have this paint at lowes, I believe it has Granite flakes in it. I really like the look, but not so much the price. I was wondering if you could paint a wall a solid color, then mix the glitter with a clear glaze and use that over the paint. Do you think that would work and look nice?

I am suppose to go to this ski lodge but the place boasts knotty pine walls. I hate those! They are creepy. Look like eyes are looking at you, especially in a dimly lit room with a fireplace.

I have a dark blue carpet, dark brown desk, dresser, and bed, and white doors and molding. I don't know what kind of wood the dresser, desk, and bed is, but it's a relatively dark brown. I was thinking of going for a light gray color for the walls, not to be boring, I just thought it would work well.

I'm not color expert but right now my walls are painted the same color as the carpet with black sponging (not my fault my parents did it...i feel like i'm in a cave)

I was leaning towards a beighish color at first but I went online to sherwin williams and Iike the light gray's the best, tell me your opinion.
