Look under "landscape equipment & supplies" or "landscaping" in your yellow pages. Several companies sell fill dirt or topsoil. Also check the classified ads, once in awhile there will be ads for free fill dirt offered. Or check with local excavating services, some of them would be glad to give or sell you fill dirt.

Get it from a dirt farm.

Or, place an ad for fill dirt wanted; developers are often looking for places to move dirt.

Or, from a local quary.

Or, from a local builders supply company (they may have contacts)

Most excavators and gravel companies also handle topsoil, peat, sand, etc. Phone book under excavating, I think.

Look in the yellow pages under" garden", if they don't have it they will tell you where to get it.
