I am suppose to go to this ski lodge but the place boasts knotty pine walls. I hate those! They are creepy. Look like eyes are looking at you, especially in a dimly lit room with a fireplace.

I used to be, and for good reason...the are transandental portals to the world of water retention and thick legs....I got over it when i was younger becuase I realized, being a guy...this was not a problem for me...but I would certainly be worried if I were a girl...not because of the notty pine, but becuase I would not be pretty....
But back to your problem, I recomend you periodically just walk around the room with a hot poker from the fire place and stare menicingly into each knot...daring it to defy your gaze...and if one does just stick your hot poker into it...and also the one next to it...that should show those mothers you mean business and keep them in line for the duration...

I am definitely afraid of them. One time a knotty pine wall just attacked me for no reason at all. He looked into my eyes and said "I am going to lam the lard out of you." I replied with "well we shall see about that one". About that time, he lammed me a good one and I threw hinm for a loop. Flim flam went everywhere. We had a huge fight, and unfortunately I got my lights punched out. The wall told me that I better check my brain to make sure the cadoodlewizard is still intact. So, the moral of the story is, knotty pine walls ARE SCARY!!!

I love our knottty pine. Especially when you can picture things in those knots......we have 2 owls and a really neat cat. Three knots were missing when we put it up in the bathroom, so I glued small wooden mice in the holes. Everybody gets a kick out of that....well, except for friend Keith...he hates mice.

THEY DO LOOK WEIRD. I DONT LIKE THEM EITHER.THEY LOOK LIKE ANIMALS to me.
