I was looking at diy today and they was showing a web-site that help you choose the color and show you what the room would look like with that color. I looked at diy web-site and I didn't see the adress. Can anyone help me? I want to paint a couple of rooms and I think this would be very helpful.

Our garage recently flooded. My daughter's crib was being stored there. Although we raised the crib out of the water's way, it still ended up getting a light dusting of green mold (as did all my baby gear). The crib is a finished cherry wood and is about 6 years old. My husband and I are wondering if we can remove the mold with bleach solution (baby #2 is on the way), or should we throw it out? Any thoughts or suggestions regarding treatment would be appreciated!

I've seen two big spiders in my apartment in the last week. They were black, maybe dark dark brown and about 1" in diameter. I live in Los Angeles. I don't know what kind of spiders they were or if they were dangerous, but they were scary. How I can keep them out?? I've never had a problem before. I'm not sure if it's the time of year that they want to come indoors or if I'm doing something different that's attracting them inside.

I just got a Charmglow vent free propane heater that puts out 30,000 BTUs and am installing it in the corner of a room now. I have built a small hearth for it and sheathed out the frame and the wall around it with 1/2 inch Duroc. I WANT to cover it with manufactured stone veneer but a friend told me I need firebrick. I thought that was for actual fireplaces? The instructions just say to keep it 6" off the wall.

We ran out of fuel oil. After refilling the tank, and pressing the reset button, the furnace still will not start up. As a matter of fact, when I push the reset button, NOTHING happens. It should kick the furnace on, so it will "suck" fuel out of the tank, and it's not doing this. What does this mean? How can I fix it?

I have two spider plants (long skinny leaves that grow those branch like things that have "babies"), an ivy, a cactus and two bigger plants that I know idea what they're called. They seem to be doing okay right now but I would like to put them in different areas of my house. Would they be okay if I only kept them in rooms with a window or do they have to be in direct sunlight?

I prefer to keep cost down and prefer not to use large trees. This borders my yard. My channel is being dredged right now and has a very earthy (not sand) soil. Ideally, the plant would be a ground cover, not something that needs to be trimmed every year or would block views. I have at least 150 linear feet to cover for my yard and would like to be able to cross to the other side (forest) and plant (no maintenance) something on the other side as there is no available water/electric on the far side.

If you're gonna say it can't be done, don't bother, cause I don't believe that.

What type or brand of insecticide do professional exterminators use for killing roaches. We moved in here and can't get rid of them! I've tried everything over the counter but nothing workes. Where we lived before you could leave a thing of cupcakes or your bread out but not here. I dont want to have to move but nothing works.

Im getting hardwood floors in my bedroom instead of carpet. is this a good or bad idea? i love the feel of carpet but with 2 pets and my messy habbits i get so many stains in it. wood is pretty, cool at night (which i like), and easy to clean but carpet is soft, warm during the day, and more fit for the bedroom. i already paid for the wood. was that a bad idea?

I have a table saw by Ryobi which I bought in Germany. It's not under warranty anymore. Anyway I noticed on a project the other day that my cuts werent coming out square and when I carefully checked my saw I noticed that the guide itself isnt square. When I set it to the length I want to measure it's ok, but then when I tighten it down it goes off true. Any ideas or recommendations?
