I have a basic run of the mill craftsman table saw. When I use it I get very irate because the fence setup seems to be junk. It seems that I have to measure the fence on both sides to make a straight cut instead of being able to rely upon the supplied ruler on the machine. Sometimes the fence is straight and sometimes it is not. When trying to perform a straight cut this is disconcerting. Has anyone heard of a better fence system to add to the saw, or is there another reasonable priced table saw out there that has a "decent" fence setup that will work flawlessley?

Have the snake tool you attach to a drill. Whenever, kitchen sink is filled with water, and I let it drain, it flows but at a slow rate so that eventually water backs up and comes out into bathtub. I ran the snake tool through bathtub opening, though the sink pipes (behind the trap), and everywhere I could think. Still same problem. Is there a specific way to use the snake tool? The tool seems to take forever to wind or unwind and I am not sure if maybe I have to let it wind forward for a little longer..

Hi, I've been in the market for some precision screwdrivers for a while. For christmas I recieved a set from sears, craftsman brand. The screwdrivers seem to be quality, and when I researched them a week ago the salesman reassured me that if the blades got mashed (which has been a frequent problem in the cheapo sets i've had in the past) all i have to do is take it into any sears and they will replace it for free. This seems like a great deal to me, unless they break every other day. Am I better off with a better set to begin with? These tend to retail for ~$2.50 a piece, with my 24 piece set at ~$40.00, while better brands seem to be double that price. I'm willing to pay double if the tool lasts me twice as long, any other recomendations? I am an EE student who does engineering work at a radio station and alot of electronics hobbying/casual repair, I use these tools a fair amount. Also does anyone have any source for a pouch to store these in?

Thanks.

Back when the weather was really nice, and when my husband and I had our dogs outside they dug a few holes in my back yard, and now I want to go buy some soil to cover the holes. Where can I buy some?

The reason I am asking is because my husband is in the army and we have a house on the base where he was stationed, and I would like to cover the holes up so neither of us get into trouble by the housing people.

I very much appreciate your help.

I have a problem with masking tape. I painted my house partially and decided the colour was not dark enough. I stopped and got lazy and never removed the masking tape off the Windows for like a year. The windows had a lot of heat from the sun on them and when I finally decided to remove the tape from the windows and trim, it is like glues on. I can get like 70% of it off with a lot of sticky fingers in the end from peeling on it....and the 30% is like almost part of the trim now. Is there an easier way to get this stuff off?

We pay for watts used so I don't see any difference. Is the lower resistance of 240v more efficient(cheaper)? How much cheaper?
