I was wondering if there was any safe way to clean the smell of cigarette smoke from a leather jacket with common household products. If someone knows of a way I'd very much appreciate the help

you can get the smoke smell out of a leather jacket if you put it in the dyer and some fabric softener on mild heat for about five minutes and keep it open up for about 15 minutes

Two good cheap answers..

1. Spray it with febreeze and hang it outside.
2. Use Dryel. It's a home dry cleaning kit for clothes.

Another would be to get it dry cleaned professionally and pay a little bit of money.

I would take it to the cleaners instead of trying to do it at home. I'm sure they have the right chemicals.

umm, you could hang it outside, in the way of some fresh breeze
