Well for one... a single person will not be hanging 36'' duct by themselves.

Its actually quite simple to install as long as all the parts needed are there, get your first piece up making it all nice and straight and looking pretty. There should be a coupler that will slide inside the peice that you have hanging, make sure it's in all the way and straight, screw that part of the coupler to the pipe.

Get your next peice ready, that will slide over the other end of the coupler, again make sure the pipe is straight and screw it on.

Getting the first few pieces up and keeping them straight is the hard part, once you get going it will all fall together.

Good Luck

ISNT THE 36" ROUND DUCT A RETURN DUCT? U NEED TO BUILD A INTAKE BOX IN CEILING OR CHASE BOX AND CONNECT THE DUCT. MAKE SURE IT IS A/C MASKED SO NO UNNECESSARY AIR IS ESCAPED.

I guess it really depends on what you told them. You should of told them the truth. I will tell you one thing, your inexperience will show and it will get back to them. Especially when you are a new employee and within your first 30-90 days.

You should not have told them that you could do something that you can't. Also I am brian d and do not want anyone to think I am you.
