My parents say tape takes the paint off the walls. anything else I can use?

i cant use thumbtacks or nails either

You can use that blue sticky stuff that schools use. But I have a better suggestion that your parents will be really happy with:

Get yourself some 3M double-sided scotch tape. Don't get the permanent kind, but the temporary one. It's great and won't remove the paint at all. You can also go to any scrapbooking store and buy tape that is used for scrapbooking. Once again, don't buy the permanent kind but the removable kind.

As a last recourse, you can buy 3M magic tape. It's a bit expensive but won't remove the paint at all...

In England we use something called Blu-Tack. If you are in the States it may go under another name, but it is designed for the job.

try fun-tac. Not sure if that is the correct spelling but it is like an adhesive putty that is not permanent

double sided tape- or museum tape--- or maybe a NAIL???
