My home is in a climate that has only two seasons wet /dry. Many times in the winter the temp. can get as low as 32 and the summer as high as 95. Under the tree there is not alot of direct sunlight.

I'm washing white sheets with bleach, and realized after I threw them in the wash that the label said Do Not Bleach. What can happen to them? They're 100% cotton and white.

We did this a few years ago and was told to plant it in the yard in January, but the tree did not survive. I am hoping to do better with this one, but I truly have a BLACK THUMB. I can use all the HELP I CAN GET! Thanks, in advance.

My wife and I want to paint the interior of our house. We want to add some color, specifically to the master bedroom (with bathroom in a complimentary shade) and home office. Also, the entranceway and foyer is a putrid shade of light green that has to go! If you do make a suggestion, please be specific to the exact color and where we can get it. We do have a Home Depot and Menard's nearby as well as local paintstores where we can buy Benjamin Moore or other paint brands. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. my first problem with my gas hot water boiler is resolved, thanks to all of you, ur advises were well appreciated. once again need help, my heat system in my house using baseboards, is working just fine. but my basement is cold, am I missing something? have no baseboards in there. any ideas. thx

I blocked the toilet last night. I had a big poo poo, blocked the toilet and it's affected the shower drain and the sink. I ain't got no £ to get a plumber. I've stuck my hand yp and down the bog, pulled poo out and my Mrs thinks I'm an animal. What do I do???

I dont know the name of it, but here is a description: It is one of those broad leafy types with a white flower that comes out of the middle on a long thin stem.

I know I am watering it adequately, but many of the leaves are turning dark brown simoltaneously. I know that may be normal one at a time as they naturally die off, but now the leaves are getting kind of sparse when it was normally pretty lush.

Any suggestions?

I'm moving into a new apartment that unfortunately has a black and white tile wall. I really like ZEN bathrooms so this is not ideal. What is a nice color (other than red) that works well for bathroom accessories like shower curtain, rug and other accents? I was thinking smokey amethyst or plum?

How do you stop them if your house is on cement blocks and not skirted ? water comes from a well 5 feet away. Pipes are under the floor and exposed to the weather..

I understand safety is #1 but many things really don't affect safety. 50 years ago there were no inspections and the vast majority of those homes are still occupied safely.In fact alot of the hundred year old homes I see were built stronger than new homes. Why can't I choose to build my home as I want it as long as its not unsafe? And if the requirments are needed for new homes, why not also apply them to millions of used homes? The used homes have occupants that should be protected by "Big Brother" also, Right?

I have a Copeland CR32K6-PFV-260 and a few days ago stopped working. The fan spins but the air coming in is not cold. I checked the breaker and that was not the problem. It has some dirt in the unit but I am having problems getting it out because it has ants and I am VERY ALLERGIC please if this is something I'm not doing please tell me. Maybe a reset switch.... Please Help and Merry Christmas!!!
