the cost would vary according to where u want to build it (ex. on an existing building which u own, on a building which u don't own, on a plain plot of land that you own, on a plot of land that u don't own)....

Then the rates would depend on the following:
1. Where in India you build it - rates vary from city to city and from village to village and even within cities and suburbs
2. cost of the material in that area
3. the means of transportation you chose for that material
4. The amount of labourers you hire

You need to consult a contractor regarding the following. There are also agencies which supply labour. You need to scour the market and get the best deal in case of the raw material too....take quotations from different places, bargain the rates if possible.....

I'd be more concerned about access to clean swimming water for the pool.

India is on the up-and-up as a big time economy. I wish the country well. Its good to see more and more people getting wealthier there and enjoying a higher standard of living.
