My wife and I want to paint the interior of our house. We want to add some color, specifically to the master bedroom (with bathroom in a complimentary shade) and home office. Also, the entranceway and foyer is a putrid shade of light green that has to go! If you do make a suggestion, please be specific to the exact color and where we can get it. We do have a Home Depot and Menard's nearby as well as local paintstores where we can buy Benjamin Moore or other paint brands. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We wish everyone a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year!

I had a lot of success with Sherwin Williams "blonde" color. Not sure of the color number, but you can look it up on their website.
I used it for my living room, and also used "sawdust" from S-W to accent my entryway (off the living room) and fireplace area. Goes great with the blonde.
Other favorites include "leisure blue" for my bedroom. Not too baby-blueish or too boring cadet blue-ish. Just the right brightness.
For my bathroom, I used Behr "wild manzana" or something like that. A purple-ish burgundy, really looks classy, like a bathroom at a nice restaurant.
Have fun!

I just painted Blue Agave for the feature wall and Baked Scone for the other walls of my bedroom. I got the paint at Home Depot. The warm beige was a Behr colour and the blue-green was from CIL. I love it the effect. It makes me feel like I'm on a tropical island.

I WOULD CHOOSE VERY LIGHT PURPLE IN THE BATH AREA,AND DARKER PURPLE IN THE BEDROOM, AND REMEMBER TO COMPLIMENT THE ROOMS WITH A FRAMED PICTURE OR TWO AND THE FRAMES CAN HAVE SOME REDISH IN THEM TO FRAME THE PICTURE.VISIT EACH STORE MENTIONED AND DECIDE. THEY WILL HELP W/SHADES OF COLOR. YOUR WIFE WILL KNOW BEST MOST LIKELY.HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YAWL ! !
