I just bought a loveseat from IKEA and I just realized that they dont sell slipcovers for Klobo (the model I bought). Now the loveseat doesnt match the color scheme of my living room. Are there any alternatives? I don't want to make one because my seamstress skills are not that great. And I think it might be pricey if I had someone do it.

Just like roofing, I figure labor is the most expensive component. I figure I might as well spend more for good/ excellent quality gas HWH than one that may last me 5 yrs. The current one, which is losing steam is over 13 yrs old. I'm willing to pay for quality, but of course only if it makes economic sense (e.g. long-life for extra expense).

Thanks very much!

we had some gas in a gas can, put it in the mower..

when we go to crank it, it sounds like it about to "turn over" and crank but then it doesn't ..

should we be looking for something specific?

sparkplugs? possible water in the gas? needs oil ?

The house has been in our family for 50 years. We used to use paste wax on the floors and then buff them with an electric polisher. Unfortunately, you can't get paste wax anymore. Since inheriting the house from my mom, we have only been able to get those liquid floor waxes. The floors don't shine and the protection is not as good as it was with the paste wax. and you can't slide across the floors in your stocking feet....... Does anyone have any suggestions. I called the wax companies but they were of no help.

I have a cotten shirt that's too BIG. I was recommended by a friend to take it to the dry cleaners and alter it.

Do they actually do that?
How much would it cost roughly?

He appeared in my basement about a week ago. I don't know if he thinks we're his winter home, but he can't stay! I want to get him out without hurting him. Is there another way without using anything that's gonna make me gag like all those pesticides they sell.
