Can't ever get chainsaw to start easily. If I am lucky enough to get it started I don't dare shut down to rest as it will not start when hot. Have had some luck replacing the spark plug. Plug should last longer than an hour or two. A logger in the woods would starve to death trying to make wages with one of these infernal machines. HELP

I was always taught to turn the heat back at night and when you would be out of the house at entended periods of time. My husband was always taught to leave the thermostat at the same temperature-- because it costs more to heat the house at a high temperature (like from 65 degrees F to 72 degrees F when away or at night)--as opposed to leaving it at 72 degrees F all the time. Which is more effencient? btw, if it matters I have natural gas - hot water radiators.

Does anyone have one of those artificlail lawns? They look better than the real thing, no water, no mowing, etc... But how do they hold up to kids and dogs? Pros and cons? Any advice?

my roof needs about 50 new shingles due to wind damage. I have called 3 roofers and no one has called me back. Is it because it's a small job or are they that busy. Is there something I should know??

We removed those old stickies that prevent you from slipping and falling. But now there's glue left on my bathtub floor. I have scrubbed it everyday to try and get it out. Using hot water to possibly melt the glue. I've tried bleach, ajax, simple green, but nothing seems to get it out. Can someone help? PLEASE!?

I've found one in my back yard. It's black with 4 red horns and what appears to be a white "smiley" face. It's quite beautiful (for spiders anyways!) and want to know if it's poisonous. I'm also on the east coast and I haven't found any info for them supposedly being from this region. They're suppose to be from Hawaii.

I see lots about sealing grout. Some people talk about sealing tile as well. I like the tile to have a bit of shine. The tile is normal large flooring tile not glazed ceramic.

I'm thinking about putting ceramic tile in our kitchen and have seen both pros and cons of doing it yourself. Figuring that a contractor will cost $5 per square foot, and I have about 250+ square feet to cover, that comes out to about $1250.00. What would the same project realistically cost if I did it myself? There shouldn't be many fancy cuts involved - although two layers of vinyl would need to be torn up (I'd probably do that myself anyway).

I am looking for a classical/traditional sofa, preferably in a bright colour (not neutral). I would love one that is comfy, new and has a kind style belonging to a nineteenth century parisian cafe. Just wondering if there's anything out there that's not dfs or mfi. Thankyou!
