Well the ones I've seen at my local garden center are about 2 to 3 years old, and are about 2 to 3 meters tall. Over its lifetime it will grow to about 15 to 25 meters tall and about 10 to 20 meters wide. Plan on it growing at just under 1m per year. It is a fast growing tree.

They are all over on the banks of the creek where I live...they grow very quickly and I root them in a tall jar of water in about 3-4 weeks....this one I am rooting right now came from a friend and her tree of 4 years is about 20 feet tall and beautiful...my brother says they are a pain in the butt as they require moisture, but we all have airconditioning leaks outside or where the washing http://www.mnpower.com/treebook/fact102.htmlmachine drips outside...this particular site i found isn't nearly as pretty as the ones we have....

I don't know how big they get, I just want to give warning...

They are a very fast growing tree... we used to have one next to our house, and it was at least twice as tall as our single story home (tree probably 15-20 years old), but... we had to have it removed because the roots destroyed our sewer lines! Very messy.... They are very pretty, but be careful in placement.
