My question was not answered. If I knew the botanical name as well as the common name I wouldn't have to ask. As I said I purchased it at the humming bird festival a couple of months ago and they told me it was a Japanese Wart Knot Plant. It has dark red and green leaves and little white flowers that look like knots. I recieved one answer that called it a Japanese knot weed. I really don't think that is what it is. Why would the botanical society sell a plant that was dangerous? Are there any more answers out there?

We have pines in our yard, and want to replace with hardwoods. Oaks, Hickory, etc. Would like something relatively fast growing that does not have surface roots (such as maple and cherry).

It worked fine one day, and now it doesn't. I checked the circuit breaker, and checked the wiring. Everything looks fine.

I am guessing something spilled in my vehicle about a year back because whenever it gets cold it STINKS! I have shampooed it, sprayed it with all kinds of stuff, hung air fresheners, put air freshener vent thingies in, etc. It never goes away! Does anybody have ideas as to how to rid myself of this problem? Any fantastic products or homemade remedies?

The water isn't dirty or anything, but the carpet in the hallway outside, of the bathroom door, is saturated. How can I remedy this myself without calling in professionals?
The area that is wet is approximately 2.5 feet x 7 feet.

We just purchased and installed a laminate hardwood floor in my kitchen and I am trying to find a good product to keep it clean. The instuctions said not to have any standing water/liquid on the floor. Does anyone know of a good product? One I can use with a damp mop that won't leave streaks.

I want to buy a tumble dryer for the garage but there is no window to put the hose out of and I dont want to drill a hole in the wall. Condenser dryers seem an expensive option and I would't have thought it would create that much condensation. Or would it?!

It's in a cottage out of town and it will not be heated all winter.

Sears just said disconnect the water and put anti-freeze in it, but won't water be in the wands and stuff too? (They won't give the details because they want a tech to go out there, but that's just not practical in this case!!)

Please help if you've ever had to do this.

Thanks!

Lifted the hearth rug and it is pristine underneath but the rest of the carpet looks stained from coal dust and general dirt (I DO hoover regularly). What would be the best way to clean it. Made from synthetic fibre.

We are having a house built in northern Alabama and the perc test came back as requiring an engineered system with over 600 ft of field lines. I'm not sure if the price increase the builder is asking is reasonable over a conventional system as priced with the home.
