all of these possible, if sewer main line, or happens frequently, you may want to get a camera job... $ 200.00 +/-, it will determine if you have a collapsed, partially collapsed line, this is/ was common, when builder runs loaded trucks over freshly dug sewer lines ( not compacted properly ) to deliver lumber/concrete. this is the worst problem will act normally for a while, then clog when you take a 1 hour long shower up stairs & it drains out of the downstairs fixtures!

check your soil pipe. In new construction, a collapsed sewer line or clogs can back up the line. Also check your vent pipe. Vacuum from a clogged vent can prevent flow out of the house

You have a pipe problem and that is a plumbers job yeah i know they are exspensive but you are going to regret not calling one when the smell gets really bad so bad in fact that you are ready to run out the door. You have either a major clog in your pipe or you have a major clog in the pipe runing to your septic tank. good luck and god bless.

Probably the main line both toilets connect to are clogged. Someone through something down the toilet that shouldn't be there. Get a plumber out there and have them snake your toilets out before it get worse.

Sounds like a good reaming is in order.
Make your spouse isn't flushing her tampoons down the drink.
Last time I had the RR out the tampoon had got down into the main and swelled the size of a large ball. I was SOOOOOOO Pissed.
Ladies DON'T flush your rags. wrap IN TP and put in trash!!

If it's new construction, immediately ask the seller/builder to investigate and correct the problem.
