We just moved from the country to near the beach and need to redecorate. We installed hickory cabinets, have stainless appliances, will be putting down wood flooring and white marble-like countertops. We don't have much natural light (will be adding more lighting) and since it's an open floor plan, I need to have the color coordinate with the living room, hallway to be painted as well. I tested a green, started out with BM herb bouquet, but in the outside light it looked like seafoam green so before I painted, I had them darken it (big mistake). Now I have this ugly gallon of paint. I'd like something warm to blend with the color I think I would like for the living room, etc- BM Stone house?

I am planning a large pumpkin patch. The area was previously an empty, weed filled field. If I put Roundup on it now, will the Roundup remain in the soil and destroy the pumpkins next spring?

We have battled a local LaZBoy store for over 12 weeks now. The way we were treated, lied to, and in the end, they ripped us off for $500 for defective chairs we reported the DAY they delivered them. Weeks and weeks of calls, promises they never kept, lies they told, their employees each contradicting what the other said, and finally refusing to stand behind these so-called "highest quality" chairs have been VERY stressful to say the least! If enough people get together and maybe make a video we can post on the web, the number of hits WILL get their attention! There are SO MANY companies getting away with ripping people off and now they're so confident that we the consumers are so powerless that they laugh or rub it in your face! Surely, we can do something to reverse this trend!

I have washed my cardigan in the washing machine: forgot to read the lable, it clearly said handwash only. It has now shrunk to the size of Madonna's new baby, and I am nearly 30... Is there any way I can rescue it?! And why does this happen?

We have many Indians in this section of town, mostly Hindu, I believe. It is becoming ordinary to see whole lots completely devoid of trees. It is done in new developments and also in homes that were built a few years ago. Just today, my neighbors who live behind me had every tree on their lot cut down and cut up. It is ugly. It turns my kitchen and TV room into sun rooms. I don't understand...

My apartment came with an washer and dryer which is great, it's a little old but it does the job. The problems is I think the water is hard. My socks get dingy and all of my clothes feel rough and I'm constantly scratching. I've tried vineger and baking soda and fabric softener which just gives off a smells, I think sometimes these things work but not often.

Any suggestions or is anyone expereince this same problem?

Hi. A friend of mine was working on a bunny cage for my rabbit, and he was arrested (nothing big, were still friends) and didn't finish it. Since he was building it outside, it's been there for a while- through rain and autumn (filled with leaves), there are bugs in it- like maggots. So I was wondering if there was any process or product that would allow a bug-hater like me to get rid of them, but still be safe for a rabbit to be around. I can't deal with poisons, not when I'm going to put a pet in there later as a home. So are there any suggestions? 'Cause I REALLY don't want to get personal with these creepy crawlies.
