We have many Indians in this section of town, mostly Hindu, I believe. It is becoming ordinary to see whole lots completely devoid of trees. It is done in new developments and also in homes that were built a few years ago. Just today, my neighbors who live behind me had every tree on their lot cut down and cut up. It is ugly. It turns my kitchen and TV room into sun rooms. I don't understand...

I live in Massachusetts! My TWO BEST FRIENDS are from India, both males and BOTH in the horticulture industry as I am.
Many trade shows in my industry that I go to have a high number of Indian Men.
None of these fine men would cut down a healthy tree!
All of them have Masters Degrees or better in Agriculture!
And the only odd thing I have seen among them is that in spite of the Idea that female children have no worth,
I do not know where it started or ended...BUT, let me tell you. their wives ARE the BOSS!
Maybe the Custom real and cruel as it was of killing girl children, was to keep these gentle tendencies in MOST of the DECENT men of India hidden behind a shroud of fear!
No! NO Indian family I know would cut down fine trees! SORRY. Or hurt their children, Or do any of the superstitious thing any one can dream up to tell you!
I love my two best friends! And their families!

Maybe its not because they are Indians maybe its because they have some problems with the trees, maintaining, watering, pruning and cleaning up the garden.

Maybe you should plant a tree of your own to overcome your sun room problem.
