I am looking at a house plan that is 3,102 sq. feet. I was told there was a way to estimate the price by square footage. Is this true and could anyone tell me how to do it or about how much that would cost?

We have a concrete driveway. Our car is OK, but other people who visited us, left oil spots. What is the best way to remove oil? Is it possible to remove the spots completely? If not, can I paint the area with paint or concrete? Can scrapes and gouges be completely repaired, or will I still see them after repairing?

I think I have cleaned it out many times only to gag on what lingers in the drain. I don't have soft water. My tub has like an orange ring of soap scum/rust. That when we moved in it wasnt there. I clean my house regularly like every week. I have used comet, bam, clr, lime away, draino, bleach, anything you name it i used it and i cannot get rid of it. I also clean the hair out of the drains on a monthly basis and it stills seams every time we shower there is about a inch of water we stand in. also when you clean your bathroom where do you start? I start with the sink and mirrors the toilet is always last.

I put a 2 degree bevel on both sides of my baseboard to adjust for the arc. My baseboard pieces are cut into inch and half sections to flow around the curve. Is there anything else I can do to reduce the sanding of the profiles. It's ten inch high baseboard, so the profile of the baseboard is very visible and I don't want any flat spots. Thanks.

I`m looking for an apartment in NJ (Middletown, Red Bank, Eatontown, Long Branch area) with washer and dryer in it. I have to admit it`s almost impossible to find one. Does anybody know anything about it? I would apreciate any information on that subject.
If I won`t be able to find exactelly what I`m looking for -is it possible to buy dryer and washer on my own and hook it all up in the apartment that doesn`t have it? (is it legal and does it pay off). Anybody tried something like that?
Thanks for any advice.

I just installed the dishwasher air gap and the plastic part of the aiargap has two holes for the water to vent out however when I place the metal cover and screwed it down I only see one hole in the vented portion of the metal cover which is positioned over the sink.. When the dishwasher ran and rinsed, the water came out of the vent but also went behind the vent causing water to go on top of the counter behind the sink. What did I do wrong??

My Garage door opener just hums... doesn't lift the door. The light on the opener turns ON, which means there is POWER. The Remotes as well as the door opener on the wall all function same. I can manually lift the door.

Any suggestions welcome!
thanks,
