I think you just have to go in the back of the fridge and unplug wherever the connection is to the icemaker.

When the waterline was installed, they likely used a piercing valve that clamps around the pipe and when turned, it pokes a hole in the pipe to get water for your icemaker. Find that valve. (trace back from fridge) and screw the valve out to turn off water. Once that is done, you pull out fridge and disconnect the line fitting with a wrench.

Follow the water line back to the shut off valve. When the valve handle and the water line make a cross it is off. When the valve handle is in-line with the water line it is on. Or if a different valve just turn it clockwise a couple times until it stops. Then you can disconnect it. Make sure you label the valve 'ice maker' so nobody turns it on and you will know what it is for 2 years later.

step 1, pull out refridgerator, see if there is a valve there, if so turn clockwise till it won't turn anymore. If not, follow waterline to valve, turn off. If you have water dispenser along w/ icemaker, check to make sure water is off. Follow water line to back of fridge, it will end with a small nut, unscrew nut, you may need two wrenches, one on nut and one on solenoid ( what the nut is attached to )

If you pull your fridge out, you will find a small plastic water line coming from the floor or wall and going to the fridge. Usually there is a small valve at the base of the water line. Turn the valve clockwise until it stops. This will shut the water off.

Pull the refrigerator out from the wall.. there is a turn off on a water line there.. Just turn the little knob and it will shut off the water to the refrigerator.. NOW.. If you want to disconnect.. that is.. take out the line all together, you have to go to the source of where the water enters the line and in each house it is different...disconnect it there

Being an ex- Navy Seal, this is right up my alley. Assuming that you have access to large quantities of C-4, this should be a cakewalk. First thing you do is to evacuate the neighborhood. C-4 can be some nasty stuff. Take around 2 1/2 lbs of this and pack it in the freezer compartment, making sure you don't drop any. Get back, way back, and detonate. Guaranteed, that there waterline will be severed

pull your refrigerator away from the wall find the water line disconnect it but a day before you do this cut of the valve to the water line under your sink so water want pour everywhere when you disconnect it, and the water in the line will freeze in to ice cubes.

First find out where the water source is and turn it off then move your refrigerater so that you can see where the line is attached. You should see a tube attached to a nut.turn the nut counter clockwise until the nut comes off and it is all done.good luck
