I have not been able to get rid of those pesky critters. Any suggestions?

I've gone to eHow and Google so please don't give me web links. And I'm a good housekeeper.

Get moth traps from the hardware store made especially for trapping meal and food moths. They have pheromones to attract and a sticky substance to entrap them. You have to replace them every three months or so and they cost about $4.00. That is the best solution I have found. The little worms come in with packaged food -- even expensive sealed food. So, good housekeeping -- no matter how good -- won't keep them out or get rid of them. I have tried "natural" methods that do not work.

The usually live in the pasta, flour, dried beans, peas etc. Look at all the dry foods you have stored in the pantry. Remove all ingredients from each shelf, and give them a good cleaning with ammonia and water (be careful not to breathe it in) Put all your dry ingredients in plastic containers with labels, they close tighter than the bags, Also check the dry dog food and Cat food for small worms that will become moths. Home economics teacher once said that if you buy flour put it in the freezer overnight and if there were any eggs in it you would kill them and you wouldn't have to worry about moths. I hope this helps. This happened to me, and I noticed it more at the end of summer I guess the heat has something to do with it.

Here are several more websites that might help. They came from a Google search for websites with the words "rid pantry moths" in the title:

I went to an exceptionally properly-equipped ironmongery shop and offered moth "baits". they appear like a roach inn, yet quite of adhesive interior, they have somewhat swatch of spongy stuff impregnated with something that sterilizes the moths. It sounds weird and wonderful, in spite of the shown fact that it labored for me in short order. No moths interior of a few weeks.

Moth balls.....but not all people can stand that nasty smell.

Bay leaves work great too! and they smell better, or have no smell at all.
