I've heard cocacola works well, just pour on the stain and rub together then wash or you may could try something called the Ultimate stain lifter, it's like that goop stuff guys buy to get the oil off their hands from cars, but you can use it on clothing too. It says so right on the label. You can find it at walmart. look in the car parts area.

I know the answer to this question because i'm a waitress and i'm always coming home with a huge butter stain on my shirt. I just use liquid dishwashing soap, like Dawn. make sure its the kind that cuts grease on dishes. Rub that on your pants and throw in the washer. It works every time.

Dawn dish soap. It will get out anything oily or greasy. Put a little on a the stain, rub together, and wash.

I am a faithful Tide user and even if a stain has set this detergent usually gets it out. Give it a try.
