OK, so this sounds real stupid but a fish (cod in fact) was left on the carpet when it was removed from the freezer and forgot to be back in again.

Now the place absolutely stinks and nothing seems to remove the smell. I have had to leave the house as it is not possible to breath. Have tried scrubbing with gallons of water, fabreeze, bathroom cleaner spray ...... etc but nothing seems to help. Andy ideas?

Okay, by saving water, we flush less and now even I add the bleach tab, the brown stain still remains in the bottom of the toilet. (guess I was too late) I tried scrubbing with brushes, still no good. How do you eventually get those stain out!???

I have a hill beside my drive way and every time It rains the mudd flows down in my drive way making a big mess. What can I put there to stop the mudd from comeing down the hill that would not be so exspensive. This is red clay mudd horrible mudd it gets so thick on the drive way after it rains I have to shovel it and it gets on my car my shoes every where.

What is the best subfloor you can get for your bathroom? Our bath tub feels like it is going to fall through the floor due to years of leaking. We finally fixed the leak but now there is a giant soft spot in front of the tub. What can we do to fix this?

I have a 3/12 low slope dormer on the back side of my Cape Cod. One roofer suggested a self adhesive flat roof system (which I’m told costs more) while another roofer said covering the dormer with an ice shield and shingles would be enough to prevent leaks. Who to believe?

Been to the end of the internet -- trying to find plant identification, classification using botanical terms to more correctly describe the darlings. Want to know more than the few terms I have in the junk drawers of my mind: Ovate, obovate, lanceolate, compound, opposite. Just can't remember what this type of classification is called. Line drawings and/or would be a plus.
