My wife works really hard, she's the oprations manager at a huge fitness facility, so she's stessed out all the time. She works 9 hour and 11 hour days. She loves a clean house, and I'm just plain lazy sometimes. I make a mess and just clan up in my own time. But people always comes tot he house, and she gets upset, because she likes when the house is clean so guests can feel comfortable. I've been doing the dishes, but once a week, so the y pile up, and when it gets to her enough she does the dishes and then stays mad at me for a few hours.
When she's mad though, she doesnt talk to me, just just stays quiet and does all the things that I said I would do. What should I say to her? I dont even know what to do, I tell her I'll them in my time, but she says my time is just too late, and she hates when people walk into a messy house. And what makes it worse is that the people that come into the house all the time are my guests. She says nobody is gonna look at ME and call me messy.

isn't it great to poop? Youre walking around all cramped up then you go poop and it's like you emptied yourself and you're free to fly again. YESSS. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a name brand mattress about 8 months ago from LS Ayres and I'm finding that it sags a little bit. When I look at the foot of the bed I can see that it is not even across the top and dips in the middle. The bed is on a flat wood platform frame (instead of box springs).

Additionally, the actual mattress is 18 inches thick including a very thick pillowtop.

Should I be concerned with taking this mattress back? I know I have a warranty, but is this normal or am I freaking out about something small?

We have it in the Bedroom Balcony, set in a Pot, riding on a waterpipe. Sun is direct on it for 3 Hrs in the morning. It gets sunburns very often.

Due to my acid reflux, my doctor said I should raise the head of my bed 6 inches with blocks. Anyone do this before? What is the best thing to use? I thought about getting a 2 by 4 and cutting into pieces then nailing them together. I'm concerned that if they aren't stable that the bed may slip and come crashing down some night.

I have a tile shower that is looking rather shabby. I've been considering ripping the tile out and re-doing it, but I was given the suggestion of "professionally refinishing" the tile. Has anyone ever done this? What is involved? I'm okay with the tile, but I'd like it to look nicer than it does with out spending a ton of money.

I bought a Japanese Maple a few months ago. It is in a large pot in my garden and was ok for a while (despite rubbish weather here in Leeds) but the leaves have now started to shrivel and go brown. Is this normal? I've lost the info card that came with it so I don't know if they're deciduous or not. I'm not very green fingered so would appreciate sensible advice - thanks!

I don't want to invest too much in an apartment I'm renting, but I would like to make the basement look nicer for card party's, etc. It's not very big, about 14 ft. by 20 ft. My main problem is the ceiling. I would like to cover up all the pipes, vents, wiring, etc. but it needs to be something I can tear down when I leave. Thanks.

My son is into nascar and likes Matt Kenseth #17, and his car colors are black and gold. We want to redo his room so he will be more comfortable sleeping upstairs and make it feel like it's his own. He would like to have 3 walls painted gold and one black. I am concerned that, even though the landlord said we could do what we want paint wise, is it still okay to paint a wall black? Plus the house is also around 100 y ears old. I want him to like his room, what would you do?

I have fruit flies in my kitchen, my bathroom, my livingroom - not just areas where there is food, but everywhere.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of them quickly? I have family coming over this weekend, and it's really quite gross.
