Photo paper will warp...get color copies made and use these instead. Use Beacon's Liquid Laminate to adhere to the switch plates....it can be used as a glue under the picture and another coat on top of the picture acts as a sealer. It dries clear and much faster than decoupage mediums such as Mod-podge. You can find Liquid Laminate at Michael's and often at the larger Walmarts in the craft department.

I agree with Lola76, but I would use mod podge (found in the craft section of Wal-Mart, or a craft store) instead of glue - I just find that it works a heck of a lot better. Put a layer of the mod podge on the plate, then lay your picture down, flatten it, and then put another layer of mod podge over it. Smooth it out with your finger if need be. Worked like a charm for me!

Print them on regular paper, then mix half glue and water and apply that over the picture and onto the plate. It should work.

Acrylic coat not needed on high-gloss photo paper. If it's a matter of smudging, use laminate plastic instead
