My doors are very squeaky so I tried oiling the hinges but they're still squeaking. Any tips on how to do this better or a good product to use?

WD40, the king of lubricant, unless you're using lubracant for recreational purposes

Oil coats the outside but can't get to the inside. Use a spray like WD-40. If you have removable hinge pins, take one out at a time and coat THAT with oil or spray as above. Wipe down all surplus oil so it won't stain floor or carpet.

I use wd-40 on any squeeky doors in my house and it lasts alot longer than household oil. Sometimes the hinges on a door can become tight which causes this squeek. It may help to remove the long pins within the hinges themselves, spray with wd-40 then replace. :)

Use sewing machine oil in the hinges, then open and close the door a few times and then place a few more drops

Try wd 40 , vasoline(believe itor not it works) , or graphite powder. Just be sure to swing the door back and forth several time to be sure whatever you use gets worked all the way into the hinges.

I use this white spray grease, it works wonders. It even comes with a long skinny straw to get in small spaces. Just make sure you put something under it when you spray in case it drips.
