I want to know because I'm moving into a new apartment and there is a slight smell. Someone told me that cockroaches have a very distinct odour and I want to know it the smell I smell is cockroaches. I'm not thinking about launching a new perfume or anything

"Cockroach odor, known as "attar of roaches," may not be life-threatening but is the unpleasant combination of cockroach excrement, scent gland fluid and regurgitated food. This musty odor varies with each cockroach species."
