I trust referrals because i've heard alot of them charge more than what they quote and have hidden fees. Your reccommendations and advice would help....thanks

My boyfriend is a very hardworking man. Sometime he works 16 hour days, they need 16 drivers but they only have 7 which explains why he works so long and hard. He delivers oxygen tanks to sick people all day long and they weigh 160+ lbs. Sometimes he has to lift several tanks up may flights of stairs. He gets very sweaty and dirty during the day. How do I get the dirt stains out of his clothes, he doesnt smell, his deodorant works good, but his clothes are still stained after washing. I use all Gain products which work good on the rest of the families clothes, but what can I use for his. The uniforms he wears get dark around the regular spots, the collar, the wrists, the chest. I love to see him in a fresh, clean crisp uniform. What will help get those dark spots out????

I've heard nothing but horror stories about contractors. I'm remodeling my home and I'm willing to pay a little extra for a good one. Anyone know how I can find reviews, referrals or recommendations. I don't just want to pick one out of the phone book, but I havent seen anything good online yet either.

This former corner car lot was raised recently which formerly was a Texaco station. I seen that they are digging deeper into the soil. Im just curious.

My friends just had a huge remodelling job done on their house. It took about 10 months, but the house has just now become habitable. This house is a second home, so not used that often, it has been closed up between visits but proper ventilation has been seen too.. When they came back to the house this time after a 3mnth absence, they found a ceramic jug that has some how become coated with what looks like graphite.. that's the best explanation.. also, above the windows on the rolling blind casings, there is the same powder. It can be wiped with the fingers and partially removed with the fingers, but still needs to be washed .. On the jug however, you have to scrub.. it almost looks like it has been painted on, the surface is also shiny, like it has been burnished.... Has anyone ever had this type of thing happen in a house?.. The builder is a complete idiot, so anything is possible.. Help.

I called an A/C guy through my home warrenty and he came out last week and said my A/C needed a part, that he would order it, and install it this week. I paid him a 55$ service call fee.
He came out today to put the part in and charged me another $55 service call. Is this right?

My Bathroom is fitted with a plastic bath tub. I use to clean it very well with ordinary stain removers and cleaners every two weeks. but still i am not able to remove some of the stains. I have bought speciallized toilet bath tub stain remover but results are still not satisfactory. some friend told me that you should try strong acid. but strong acid is not available in market. Can anyone recommend me something else to clean those stains....

All my bras except my black one turn greyish, yellowish, icky. Even my beige one is grayish. I wash them regularly of course. Sometimes I apply Shout before washing, but it requires much of the bottle to cover the surface area of just one bra. In changerooms I notice my bras aren't as nice as everyone else's.

The soil is only subsoil so the first thing is to bring in some really good earth..... then what? I'd like to turn part into a veg. garden and I also want a sitting area with lots of flowers, shrubs and trees. What should I do this fall to get the project off to a good start? What are the first things I should plant? We won't be able to get a grader in for three more weeks. Can I put compost on now or will it all wash away by next year? Should I keep it in the bin until next year?
