Any help appreciated. May have been there for a couple of yrs by the looks of it. Borax & warm water did not work, neither did most spray cleaners [Australia]

Scrub & Bubbles?? What is that pls. I am in VIC.
New lino?.maybe.. Bleach didn't work.

Thanks..will try ammonia & dish detergent today. I left lemon juice/baking soda/white vineger mix overnight on area & its lightened a little.

try sudsy amonia (or regular). that should take up ground in dirt and any old wax too.

Armstrong New Beginnings Stripper and Cleaner is the best. Then follow with clear water to finish. If you finish is so worn that this won't work, then replacing the floor is probably the only solution.

Spray scrub and bubbles on it and let it sit. This works really well. Use scrub brush or rags to clean it afterwards.

Try a Mr Clean magic eraser, they work on everything!!!

Have you tried using ammonia solution? You can get them at DIY stores.
