What still looks good if you haven't, before they all get replaced with mums.

Illinois. Too hot. Then too wet. Then too cold. Now all three.

Alaska. Too hot in May, too cold in June, too wet in Jul and August, just about right now in Sep. Have fuschias ans lobelia and dianthus still blooming. Not as nice as other years except the lobelia. Itw ill snow sometime in the next 2 wks. Then I will tke them down and throw the plants away. Hope next summer is better.

You must be back east. In SoCal we have hanging baskets that live year round. Ivy Geraniums are the best for color. But I also have a few vines like variegated pink Jasmine, variegated Pandorea, Stephanotis, Rabbit's Foot Fern, Russelliana equesetifolia, String of Hearts, a type of kalanchoe and more.

Only my impatience look good right now. The summer was so hot and dry that I finally gave up with the watering. My hanging baskets looked like c--- this year.
