Anything oil-based should work... try some mayonnaise before you spend money on something you might not have around the house.

Lots of baby oil on a rag. Rub vigorously. It works with feet, too. Very popular along the beaches around Santa Barbara, CA.

I just repaired my flat roof, and there is tar evrywhere.....!
The only thing I found really works is gasoline (or petrol, if you prefer).
NO SMOKING!

Basically almost any liquid that is alchol based. Nail-polish remover, wine, etc.

Goof Off removes glue, caulk, paint, ink, etc... etc... Home center should have it.
