The "best" and the "most affordable" are usually two different things. Las Vegas to Texas is a fairly long move, especially if you are moving to east Texas (Beaumont to El Paso is 900 miles). If you have a house full of furniture and a lot of possessions to move, you would be well advised to get estimates from several of the nationwide movers. North American Vanlines and Allied Movers come to mind. They will be identified in your local Yellow Pages. Call them, and they will give you a written estimate.

Good luck with your move.

We moved from Las Vegas to Oklahoma with a rented truck. Saved a lot of money, but just be sure you have plenty of help.

We used Budget. I don't remember how much it was. I think we had a 24 ft truck and we had a car carrier. We moved 2 one bedroom apartments, and the truck was full.

You can go to www.budget.com for rates.

Good luck on your move. It's a long drive.
